I finally signed up. I'll be away for a week and wasn't sure if it would sell out in my absence: it's already 83% full.
I was going to do the 5K again but the new route for the full was too tempting. I'll take it easy.
I have some long runs behind me already but would like to do at least a couple more in the 20 mile range, and maybe one monster one in about a month's time. Meanwhile, I'll continue doing speedwork with the group after I get back. It'll be short runs and weights this week, and lots of fishing.
The dog and I jogged almost 4 miles today very slowly. There was some walking in there too. The goal was to get blood moving more and to loosen up; after a while things felt nice.
